Give your curls regular moisture and gentle care. Wash with sulfate-free shampoo and condition regularly. Detangle from the ends upward using your fingers or a wide-tooth comb while the hair is damp and conditioned. Avoid brushing dry curls. Use a lightweight leave-in conditioner or curl cream as needed, then air dry or diffuse on low heat. Avoid sleeping with wet hair, and use a silk or satin bonnet at night.
